Meet Roxy 🐾❤️
At just 8 months old, Roxy has already shown us how brave she can be. She came into care a very fearful girl, but has worked so hard to build her confidence. Watching her learn to trust, enjoy enrichment and explore her world has been so rewarding.
Roxy is a sensitive soul who needs someone willing to go at her pace, celebrate the little wins and show her that the world can be a safe place. New situations, loud noises and unfamiliar people can still be overwhelming, so patience, consistency and kindness will be key to helping her blossom.
As a clever, energetic Kelpie, Roxy also needs plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and outlets for her working breed instincts. A property with space to explore would suit her best. Apartment living or a small townhouse isn't suitable for this active girl.
Roxy would suit a home with children aged 12 and over, with no pocket pets. She's done well with other dogs, and a suitable canine companion may help her confidence continue to grow.
Roxy has already come such a long way, and now she needs someone special to help her take the next steps. She may need a little extra time, but watching her learn to trust you will be worth every moment.
