Hi there, I’m Clyde, a seven-month-old bundle of whiskers and wonder. I’m the kind of cat who greets the day with a curious sniff of the breeze, then melts into a warm, belly-down nap when the sun finds my fur. There’s a twinkle in my eyes and a soft resilience in my chest that says: I’m ready to belong somewhere safe, where quiet moments and small adventures share the same sunny space. I’m a gentle soul with a steady pace. My energy sits right in the middle of the couch and the windowsill—enough spark to explore and play, but plenty of time for a long, contented stretch. I may stop to study a new room before I stride in, needing a little time and encouragement to feel at home. Once I trust you, I’ll reward you with soft purrs, and the comfort of my quiet presence as I soak up the world in small, grateful sips. To feel my best, I need a home that respects my pace. A kind, patient household with predictable routines will help me settle into my own rhythm. I’m happiest when there’s gentle handling (on my own terms), soothing voices, and an environment where I can gradually test the waters—sniff a doorway, perch on a sunlit sill, and share in your company at the pace that suits me. A calm space where I can grow into confidence will bring out the best of my sweet, easygoing nature. If you’d like to meet me, I’d love to say hello in person and let you feel my soft purr and warm concern up close. Come by the shelter to say hi, or reach out to start an adoption inquiry—perhaps I’ll be the hopeful, hopeful new chapter you’ve been dreaming of. NOTE: I am currently being treated for a fungal infection called ringworm, however I did receive my 1st negative result YAY, so on my way to full clearance!
