Hi, I'm Honey! I'm a 6-year-old Staffy with a sweet nature, a curious nose, and a growing confidence that's just waiting to shine.
When I first arrived in care, I was a little scared and unsure of everything around me. New places and new faces can feel a bit overwhelming, so I kept to myself at first. But with lots of patience, kindness, and reassurance, I've started to come out of my shell—and it turns out I've got quite the lovely personality! One of my absolute favourite things is being outdoors. Give me a yard to explore and I'm in heaven! I love sniffing every interesting scent I can find, and if there's a nice patch of grass, you'll probably catch me having a joyful roll around. It's the simple things in life! I'm hoping to find a family with older children who understand that I sometimes need a little space while I build my confidence. Once I'm comfortable, I can get pretty excited, so I'll need people who can keep up with my happy Staffy enthusiasm. Because I'm still a little unsure in new environments, I'd really love a home where someone is around more often than not while I settle in. Having my people close by will help me feel safe, build my confidence, and settle into family life at my own pace.
