Hi, I’m Bear! I’m a 3-year-old Staffy x Jack Russell! I am currently living it up in a foster home while I wait for my forever family!
I’m a super adorable, uniquely proportioned little girl. But don’t let my short little legs fool you — I love getting outside and exploring. One of my favourite things to do is sniff, sniff and sniff some more! There’s always something interesting to investigate, and I’m happiest when I have the freedom to take my time exploring the great outdoors. In my foster home, I spend most of my time outdoors in the backyard where I love to enjoy the sunshine. My ideal home will be nice and quiet and have a spacious backyard for me to call my own. I am quite happy to relax on my own during the day as long as I get some attention and fun activities when you get home! Older kids are suitable, provided they are ok to give me space when I need a break.
My foster carers have found that while I may take a little time to get used to new people, I become a lovely affectionate companion with some patience. My favourite part of the day is snoozing in the sun while my foster mum enjoys her morning coffee on the patio! I’m an independent girl who is quite happy doing my own thing. I’m not particularly interested in other dogs, so I’d prefer to have my home to myself. I am a fantastic walking buddy and walk great on my lead. Sometimes I love to to have a good leisurely sniff of all the bushes and other times I like to stay the path and get my steps in! I also love to jump in the car and go for a ride! My foster carer says I am a very smart girl who is learning new things quickly and loves to do enrichment activities and puzzles.
