Hi, I'm Monkey!
I'm a handsome 3-year-old Domestic Short Hair with a big personality and plenty to say. I'm a very vocal boy and love chatting with my humans, especially when I'm looking for attention. Don't be surprised if I greet you with a meow and happily tell you all about my day!
I enjoy spending my time basking in the sunshine and playing with string toys. A good play session followed by a nice sunny nap is my idea of a perfect day. I'm also an active and curious cat who loves having room to explore, so I'll need a home with plenty of space. My ideal home would be primarily indoors with access to a secure outdoor enclosure or enclosed backyard where I can safely enjoy the sights, sounds, and fresh air.
Moving into a new home can be a little overwhelming for me, and I may feel nervous when faced with unfamiliar surroundings. I'll need a family that can be patient and give me the time I need to settle in at my own pace. A quiet launch room for the first few days can help me build confidence and feel safe while I get used to my new environment.
Because of my timid nature, I would be best suited to a calm and quiet home. I would also prefer a home with no children under 6 years of age, as loud noises and busy environments can sometimes make me feel uneasy. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my sweet personality will shine through, and I'll be a loyal companion who loves being part of the family.
Like all cats, I'll need a few essentials to help me thrive: a cosy place to sleep, scratching posts to keep my claws healthy, fresh water, nutritious food, a clean litter tray, and plenty of love and companionship. Most importantly, I'll need a family that understands that settling in takes time and lets me blossom when I'm ready.
