Hi there, I’m Chive, I have a heart the size of a drum and a nose that loves to chase the next scent. My fur is soft as a whisper, and every new sound becomes a little invitation to peek around the room. When the sun finds my fur and warms my back, I sigh a contented little sigh and lean into a kind voice. I’m growing into a curious explorer who learns best with gentle guidance. If you listen closely, you’ll hear the quiet promise in my squeaky little yawns: I want to belong and I want to learn. I’m still small, but my spirit is big. Other dogs are some of my favourite people—I’m dog social and I love sniffing and playing with the pack. I crave daily chances to learn about life—puppies, most dogs, new places—and I take each new experience in with a hopeful wag. I’m generally well adapted to different surroundings and people, and my energy sits happily in the middle: I’ll chase a soft toy or a quick game, then settle into a warm sunbeam for a long, peaceful nap. I don’t have any known issues with kids, and I seem easygoing with other pets too, which tells me I’m ready to meet the world with an open heart. What I need in a home is patience, structure, and daily opportunities to grow. A family that enjoys gentle play, steady routines, and the quiet joy of a pup curled at your feet after a busy day would be perfect. I’m happy indoors or outdoors as the day invites.
