Hi, I’m Archie I’m a gentle, sensitive boy who’s still learning that the world isn’t so scary. I can be a little timid at first, so I might take some time to settle into a new home—but once I feel safe, you’ll see my soft and affectionate side come through. In my foster home, I actually adjusted really well! I do still get a bit startled, even with familiar people, especially when someone comes home suddenly. But if you sit down, take things slow, and give me some gentle pats, I’ll relax again pretty quickly. I’m a bit of a sook at heart—I really do love attention. If your hand is free and you’re sitting or lying down, I’ll be right there, nudging in for some pats. I’m not always the most playful boy as I can be a little skittish, but I do enjoy entertaining myself—especially with my ball toy during the day when no one’s around. I also sleep a lot (it’s hard work being this cute!), and you’ll often find me curled up on the couch, dining chairs, or in my cosy box near the bedrooms. I tend to be most active in the afternoons and evenings when my people are home and things feel a bit more social. That’s when I’m happiest being near you, soaking up attention in a calm and quiet way. Because I can get scared easily, I’ll need a patient and understanding home. When I’m frightened, I might run away, freeze, or panic if I’m picked up—so it’s really important that I have space and time to feel safe. For that reason, I’d be best suited to a calm, quiet household, with no chaos or loud environments. It would also really help me to have lots of cosy hiding spots where I can retreat if things feel a bit overwhelming. Having those safe spaces makes a big difference for a sensitive boy like me. With a little patience, a gentle routine, and lots of love, I’ll blossom into the sweetest, most affectionate companion. I may be shy, but I’ve got a big, loving heart just waiting to shine
