Little bit about Luna

Hello there, I’m Luna. I’m the kind of dog who finds magic in the quiet: a sunbeam in the kitchen, the soft rustle of leaves on an early morning walk, your steady presence beside me. I carry a gentle bravery in my chest and a wary-but-willing curiosity about the world. I’m happiest when I’m in a home that feels calm and predictable, where I can ease into the day with quiet rituals—indoor snuggles, a slow stroll, a space to watch the world go by from a comfy spot.

I’m a thoughtful soul who loves companionship that respects my pace. Other dogs make me tense at a distance, even if they mean no harm. I can move past them on walks but I don’t seek their company, and I’d rather avoid busy moments with lots of dogs. When I spot a dog across the street, it’s best to cross or turn away, and I respond best when you call my name and reward me for focusing on you. My energy is moderate: I’ll enjoy a gentle wander, a few sniff breaks, then a long snooze in a sunlit corner. I’ve had some caution signs in my journey, so I’ll thrive with an experienced owner who can read my moods and guide me with patience.

I’d flourish in a quiet, calm household with solid fencing to keep me safe and grounded. I’m best as the only dog in the home, with children aged 15 and up. I don’t have known issues with other pets, but I’m most settled when I’m not sharing my space with other dogs. Indoors and outdoors living suits me, and I’ll be grateful for a routine that respects my pace—regular meals, steady walks, a cozy bed, and a person who will call me back to focus with gentle praise.

If you imagine a soft-eyed girl who will grow with you, who treasures quiet moments and honest companionship, I’d love to meet you. Please consider applying to adopt or come and say hello—I can’t wait to find a patient, peaceful family who will sit with me as the world slows to my pace.
