Little bit about Captain Morgan

Hi, I’m Captain Morgan, but my friends call me Morgs!

I’m a sweet, playful guy who has come a long way in learning that the world can be a safe and exciting place. I can be a little unsure when I meet new people or experience new things, so I’m looking for a patient family who will give me the time and support I need to settle in and build my confidence.

Once I know you, my playful personality really shines. I love spending time with my people, exploring the world, and keeping my brain busy with fun enrichment activities. I’m also a bit of a little shadow and love being close to my favourite people. My dream is to become a lap dog in my forever home once I feel safe and settled! I thrive in a calm, predictable home where I can continue learning and feel secure.

One of the lovely things about me is that I can form positive relationships with other dogs when we’re a good match. I can get a little carried away during play, so I’ll need thoughtful introductions and some help keeping my manners in check. I could join a home with a suitable canine companion, or perhaps even find my forever home alongside my good friend Iggy!

My ideal home would be a quieter environment with children aged 12 years and over, secure fencing, and owners who understand I may need a little extra guidance with my house training while I settle in. While I do enjoy spending time indoors with my people once I feel comfortable, indoor spaces can be a little scary for me at first, so I’ll appreciate having access to a cosy, sheltered outdoor area while I build my confidence.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with trust, affection, and plenty of playful moments, I might just be the dog for you. I can’t wait to find my forever family and continue my journey by your side.

Love Morgs x
