Hi, I’m Rhea!
I’m a 5-year-old Ridgeback X with a soft, sweet nature. I can be a little sensitive in new situations, so I need some time to feel safe — but once I trust you, I’m affectionate, loyal, and love being close to the people I bond with.
Because I can get overwhelmed, I’m looking for a calm home with no children under 12 years old, and I’ll need to meet everyone in the family before I go home.
I also need to meet any resident dogs. I didn’t have the greatest start to life, and what helped me through those hard times were the dog companions who stayed by my side. I can be a little selective, but I feel most at ease with a confident, steady dog who can show me the world is a safe place.
A secure environment helps me relax, so I’ll need solid fencing and access to both indoors and outdoors, letting me choose spaces where I feel comfortable.
If you’re patient, kind, and ready to help a gentle girl continue to blossom, I would love the chance to meet you. I have a big heart — I just need the right family to share it with. ❤️
