Hi, I'm Sugar! I am currently in foster care living the good life while I wait for my forever home to find me! Here is an update from my foster carers:
"Sugar has settled into our family home incredibly well so far. He is living with two adults, two children (aged 9 and 12), and their 69-year-old grandmother, and has been a lovely presence in our home. He is very affectionate boy but doesn't need to be the centre of attention and is happy spending a few hours alone daily. He enjoys going for short, quiet walks and having a good sniff around and loves the car. Sugar sleeps well through the night in his own bed and is fully toilet trained. Sugar already knows how to sit and lie down, particularly when there's some food encouragement involved. Overall, Sugar has been a gentle, affectionate and easy-going companion in our home. He really seems to thrive on being around his people and knowing he's part of the family. He's been a real pleasure to have in our home!"
Just like my name suggests, I'm the sweetest boy you'll ever meet! I have a lovely gentle nature with a goofy playful side as well! I'm looking for a home in a quieter neighbourhood with a yard to play, sunbake and roll around in! I have experience living with older children and would happily share my new home with kids aged 6+ (despite my gentle nature I am a big boy who might accidentally knock little ones over in my excitement!)
I would prefer to be the only dog in the home so that I can soak up all the love and attention for myself please! I don't mind spending some time on my own in the yard while the humans are out earning money to buy me treats, so full-time workers are suitable. If you're searching for a gentle giant with a sweet nature, a waggy tail, and plenty of love to give, I think we could make the perfect team. I can't wait to meet my forever family and start our next adventure together! 🐶💙
