Meet Connie 🐾
Sweet, sensitive, and full of love, Connie is a little Dachshund with a big heart. This gorgeous girl thrives on human companionship and is looking for a home where someone is around more often than not. Connie adores her people and will need a family committed to continuing to build her confidence, particularly when it comes to spending time alone.
Because she can be nervous around loud noises and sudden movements, Connie would be best suited to a home with calm, respectful children aged 12 years and older who can give her the space and understanding she needs to feel secure.
Connie enjoys having access to both indoor and outdoor areas, but she is most comfortable being left indoors when home alone. She is crate trained and mostly toilet trained, and she settles well when she has a safe, familiar space of her own.
A secure backyard with safe fencing and secure footings is essential, as Connie's new family will need to ensure she cannot dig or squeeze her way out.
When it comes to other dogs, Connie is social and enjoys the company of dogs of a similar size. Any potential canine siblings will need to meet Connie prior to adoption to ensure everyone is a good match.
Connie may be small in stature, but she has so much love to give. With patience, understanding, and a calm environment, this sweet girl will make a devoted and affectionate companion.
