If you’re patient, affectionate, and ready for puppy-sized adventures, I might be the heart you’ve been hoping to bring home. I’m sociable with people and have a soft spot for other dogs. I’ve been lucky enough to share a home with another dog before, when I got to spend time in foster care. I can be quite high energy with my play, so it's important that if you have another dog, you're around to supervise while we get to know one another as I’ll need a little guidance as I learn about daily life with a new companion. I adore being near my humans, soaking up cuddles, and then trotting off to explore sniff-worthy corners. I respond best to a calm routine, safety, and a steady voice that helps me feel confident and loved. A little time and space for each of us to unwind goes a long way. I’m adaptable, with an energy level that keeps things lively but not exhausting. I feel comfortable indoors or outdoors as long as there’s a human to share the moment. I’m happiest with children aged six and up who can be gentle, patient, and consistent. If there’s another dog in the home, I’ll bring social energy and we’ll need enough resources for everyone plus some downtime apart to recharge.
