Meet Stix
Stix is a 3-month-old German Shepherd x Irish Wolfhound mix with a big personality to match his big paws!
This cheeky young boy is active, playful and always looking for his next bit of mischief. Stix loves exploring his surroundings and getting involved in whatever is happening around him. As a large-breed puppy, he is already a big boy and, at times, doesn't quite realise just how much energy and enthusiasm he has!
Stix will thrive with a family who understands the needs of a large, active breed and is committed to continuing his training, socialisation and development as he grows. He will need plenty of appropriate exercise, mental stimulation and guidance to help him learn how to channel all that puppy energy.
Like many young puppies, Stix is still learning about the world and will benefit from patient, consistent boundaries and positive reinforcement. His new family should be prepared for the fun, challenges and commitment that come with raising a large-breed puppy.
Stix has displayed some prey drive towards chickens, so he would be best suited to a home without poultry or pocket pets. A secure environment and responsible supervision will be important as he continues to mature.
