Little bit about Willow

Hi there, I'm Willow, a four-month-old with a curious whisker twitch and a tail that seems to tell a story before I speak. I wake to a sunbeam on my fur and drift off to dreamland in a warm patch of light, content as a book left open on a lazy afternoon. I love the soft rustle of blankets, a kind voice calling my name, and the feel of cool tile under my paws when I’m nosing around the kitchen floor. I’m all about learning, sniffing, and taking life one gentle step at a time. I’m told I’m sociable with other dogs, but I have a delicate line. When I near another lively dog, I can get overwhelmed and might bark—fear mixed with frustration. A treat can soften the moment, and I’m learning to redirect my energy toward calm signals. I can meet dogs, but I don’t yet know the rules of play, and it will take time and patience for me to figure it out. I’m hopeful about daily chances to learn about life with my people and with other dogs, puppies or older dogs alike. That’s why I’d do best in a home with solid fencing—something secure I can rely on when I’m exploring new corners of the world. I’m a moderate-energy girl who enjoys a steady routine: gentle walks, quiet cuddles, and moments to pause and observe. I’m happiest with a family that includes older kids (12 and up) who can keep their voices soft and their pace calm. It would be wonderful to share my life with another calm, older dog who can model good manners while I learn how to socialize at my own pace. If my story sounds like a fit for your home, please come meet me and see if we click. I can’t wait to meet you and start a new chapter together.
