Hi, I’m Rocky, an older gentleman with a big heart and an even bigger love for the simple things in life.
I arrived at the shelter with my best friend, Blaze. We get along wonderfully and have been great companions for each other. While we’d certainly be happy to continue our life together, I am also able to cope just fine when we’re apart — so we don’t necessarily need to be adopted together.
I’m a very sweet and affectionate guy who absolutely loves people. Give me a sunny spot to relax in, some tasty food, and a few toys to play with, and I’ll be one happy boy!
When it comes to other dogs, I can sometimes get a little frustrated or over-excited, so for now, I’d be happiest as the only dog in my new home. My one exception is my best mate Blaze — if you’re looking for two wonderful dogs, we’d love the chance to stay together!
I haven’t had the chance to meet any kids yet, but I’m a gentle boy who really enjoys being around people. If I’m going to be sharing my home with children, I’d love to meet everyone first to make sure we’re all comfortable together.
My ideal home will give me indoor and outdoor access, so I can enjoy some sunshine and then come inside to relax with my people.
