Little bit about Rachel

Meet Rachel – Your Little Lap-Dog in the Making! 🐾

At 6 years old, Rachel is a sweet little Chihuahua with a big heart and a love for the simple things in life. She enjoys spending time with her favourite people, having a good play with her sister Monica, and finding a cosy spot to settle in for a nap. And if there’s a lap available? Well, Rachel would be more than happy to put it to good use!

Rachel has been growing in confidence during her time in care and is learning that people can be pretty wonderful. While she may need a little time to feel comfortable with new faces and handling, she has made lovely progress and is now beginning to seek out pats and affection herself. She’ll do best with a family who lets her settle in at her own pace, gives her space when she needs it and celebrates the little milestones along the way.

Rachel enjoys playing with other dogs, exploring outside and having a good chew on her favourite toys. She also has a cheeky side and loves shredding cardboard, so don’t be surprised if she thinks your toilet rolls are her next exciting enrichment activity! She is comfortable with everyday household noises and travels well in a pet carrier.

The most important thing to know about Rachel? She comes with her very own best friend! Rachel is closely bonded with her sister Monica, and these two lovely ladies are looking for a home together. Having each other by their side is a special part of their world, and they’ll bring double the companionship and twice the Chihuahua charm to their lucky new family.

Rachel may take a little time to settle into her new surroundings, but she’s already shown us how much her confidence can grow when she feels safe and supported. If you’re looking for a sweet little companion who dreams of cosy cuddles, playtime with her sister and a family to call her own, Rachel and Monica could be the perfect pair for you. 💕
