RSPCA’s annual ‘Give to Get Them Home’ fundraiser returns on 1 October, giving animal lovers the chance to help twice as many animals in need.
For one day only, generous sponsors will be matching every dollar donated to RSPCA with money raised helping fight animal cruelty and neglect, providing critical veterinary treatment, and the essential care animals need before finding their new loving homes.
Some animals, particularly those entering RSPCA’s care through the Inspectorate spend months in the shelter before they are ready to be adopted.
A powerful example is Nate, a one-year-old Staffy cross found with a shattered leg and heat stress. RSPCA NSW travelled eight hours to rescue him, supported his surgery and recovery, and cared for him for 335 days before he finally found a home.
Each year, thousands of animals like Nate enter the care of RSPCA NSW and its generous donations that enable us to get them back on track to finding a forever home.
In 2025, RSPCA NSW raised over $500,000 through Give to Get Them Home, and we hope to surpass last year’s result with the kind support of corporate sponsors, our generous Giving Circle supporters, and the New South Wales community.
On Thursday 1 October all donations will be doubled thanks to donation matching sponsors including our friends at; Royal Canin, Peter Alexander, Bravecto, and some exceptionally generous individuals.
