Hello Hooman, I'm Scooby, a young Mastiff x Rhodesian Ridgeback with big paws, a big heart and an even bigger future!
Like my famous namesake, I can be a little unsure when meeting new people. I’m a sensitive soul, and when things feel a little overwhelming, I can experience some big emotions and become a bit jumpy. However with the right person by my side, I’m ready to learn that new people and new experiences can actually be pretty wonderful!
I’m looking for my very own Shaggy, someone kind, patient and understanding who will support me through the wobbly moments, celebrate my wins and help me discover just how brave I can be. I’d love to share my home with children aged 15 years and over, who can give me the space and gentle encouragement I need to feel comfortable. With them by my side, I think we could make a pretty fantastic Mystery Gang!
I’d thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where I can explore at my own pace, sniff out all the little clues and investigate everything my new environment has to offer. When I’ve completed my daily detective work, there’s nothing better than curling up in a cozy bed indoors, with my new family nearby to help me feel safe, settled and content.
I’d love a well-socialised canine sidekick to keep me company on my adventures and maybe even teach me a few important tricks of the trade. I haven’t met any small animals yet, so I’ll need slow and thoughtful introductions while I investigate these new characters. After all, every good Scooby investigation takes time… and probably a few Scooby Snacks!
In the next episode of my life, all I need is my very own forever family, a comfy spot in the Mystery Machine and someone to share a lifetime of tail wags and adventures with. I hope that's with you!
