Little bit about Mowgli, the Rescuoodle

Hello there!

I'm Mowgli, isn't my gorgeous black coat just taking your breath away?! The staff here say I am the sweetest, gentlest cat once I get to know you. Sadly, i've heard that black cats like me are often overlooked at shelters, but I'm not worried, I have faith that my affectionate and loyal nature will win over the hearts of my new family in no time. I have been incare for over a year now and I really loved my time here but I am now very eager to find that purrfect home!

I'll admit, I can be a bit nervous at first, I do enjoy a good hidey spot while I get comfortable. But once you've gained my trust, I promise you will see my true colours and I hope that you will fall in love. I'd thrive in a quieter home where I can relax and be myself, so I'd prefer a household with no kids under 15 and if you've had experience with nervous cats like me before, then even better!

I appreciate having my own space to settle into, so a launch room with all my essentials would be purrfect. It gives me a chance to get comfortable before exploring the rest of the house. Oh, and I love a good play session! When that wand toy starts wiggling, I can't help but join in—I've got quite the prey drive, you see. One thing I absolutely adore is a cozy window perch where I can watch the birds fly by. It's like I'm watching TV!

Now, about my diet… I came into care with a bit of an upset tummy, but thanks to Hills Science Diet Biome food, I'm feeling right as rain. As long as I stick to that diet, I shouldn't have any more tummy troubles. So, while I do enjoy the occasional treat, it's best to keep them plain and simple, like chicken.
