Keep your cat or kitten happy, healthy and safe.

In NSW, you are legally required to have your cat microchipped and registered. He must also wear a collar with a tag which lists your contact details. Registration costs will vary, depending on whether or not your cat is desexed. If you move, remember to update your details with your local council.

For more information, please contact your local council.

While the RSPCA strongly advocates that cats be kept as indoor pets, if your cat is allowed outdoors, it’s a good idea to put a bell on his collar. This will warn birds and native animals that he is around.
