Little bit about Peetie, the Rescuoodle

Hi, my name is Peetie, but you can call me Pete! I'm looking for an experienced owner who can commit to ongoing training and guidance. I would love a mature home with any children to be dog confident and over 15 years. I would love to have the option to come inside with you, I'd love to know what you're up to and whether I could join in on some daily activities. My new yard will have room for me to run around and explore, and solid fences that I can't see out of. I get a little excited when I see other dogs out for walks so blocking my view of this will help me to not be so jealous! I have met some other dogs during my time here at the shelter and I've shown to want to bark and say hello to them all. I find it weird when they don't say hello back but I'm learning that this is ok. As I am still learning how to be around other dogs, I will need to be the only dog in your home please and avoid those busy places like dog parks and beaches. Instead, I would love to have some training sessions in the backyard or we could go for a walk together when it's a quiet time so that I don't annoy all the dogs I come across.
