Little bit about Astro, the Rescuoodle

Hi there,

My name is Astro and I am a sweet boy finally on the look out for my forever home! Could this be with you?

I came in as a stray and unfortunately my family never came to collect me so now I am looking for something a bit more permanent, a bit more furever you know?

I was quite timid when I first arrived at the shelter so I need a family who is a bit on the quieter side not too many visitors, just like to hang around at home and hang out. I would like to get comfortable at home and take everything at my own pace. Once I get to know you my confidence will increase and maybe you can start walking me around the neighbourhood first and eventually we can go on some really fun bushwalks! I really love going on adventures, I love water and sticks!

I am quite a funny dog the staff have noticed that in my kennel I like to have my little kong in my mouth and I carry it around to show them as they walk past!

I have met dogs here at the shelter and I am pretty friendly sometimes we go for little walks together. I would prefer to be the only dog in the household though because I like to have my space at times too.

I know there will be times when you have to leave me alone at home and that's ok. Just make sure you leave me with some things to do like a kong and maybe a pigs ear and I will do my best not to miss you too much while you are gone!
