Make a difference in an animals life today!
Hi my name is Jerry and I am a young lad who is in the need of his very own forever family that is willing to take the time to teach me about the world!
I am a puppy still so will need daily opportunities to learn and explore the world, mental enrichment is very important for me and I thrive on it, I love things like puzzle feeders and kongs that stimulate my brain and help keep me busy. I am still learning to walk on leash and I am gaining confidence each day, my new guardians will have to be committed to ongoing training with me so that I can continue to learn and grow, taking me to a class would be a great way to introduce me to new people and environments in a controlled setting.
My ideal home would be with older children that are able to understand that coming home will be overwhelming for me, I will need a safe secure place that can be my very own that I can retreat to when I need to decompress and sleep. I have been working on my sociability while I have been in shelter and I am now able to engage in play with confident well socialised dogs, I would love to have a doggy friend in the home, we just have to make sure they are the right fit for me and are not too overwhelming for me, please make sure to bring them in so we can have a play and get to know each other.
Requirements:
-Must meet all family – No children under 15
-Must meet all dogs – Committed to ongoing training
If you think you are the family that can help me grown and thrive, please head into the shelter today to say hi. Love, Jerry
