Hi everyone!
I'm Marley, the sweetest little dog you will ever lay eyes on! Now before you fall in love, let me tell you all about me and my little quirks.
When I first came into shelter care I was very unsure, nervous, lost and scared. Lucky for me, a lovely lady took me home to try and help me with my fear. It took a while for me to settle in, I was so unsure about everything, noises and movements would worry me, and I just wanted the support from the foster carers, which they gave me. Since I've met the other dogs in the home, I'm starting to show my true colors and starting to feel like a puppy again! I'm starting to explore and become curious, adventurous, but I still need that reassurance and encouragement from my peoples. Now that I'm starting to feel better, I'm looking for a new home all of my very own with some special people to take care of me and not mind my quirks. I will need to go home with another older, confident social dog, someone home more often than not while I settle in, an experienced owner who has had similar dogs in the past, and a quiet, predictable home life. In the foster home I have made friends with the smaller human, so if you have dog confident children that understand when to be quiet and calm, I might also be suited to them. I am currently in foster care so if you want to meet me, give the staff at the shelter a call so my foster mummy can bring me in!
