Hello out there!

My name is Mercedes!

I'm a small little pocket rocket dog, but I don't actually move that fast, I like to take my time and potter along like any real lady would do! I'm a big fan of my treats, my belly probably gives this away, but I'm starting a new diet and soon there will be a fresh fabulous new me! If I can stay away from all the yummy food that is. I'm looking for a home to call my very own with someone who enjoy my little wagging tail and pointy ears, someone who is home more often than not to keep me company, and if you have another smaller dog, great! Bring them into see me as I'm quite a social butterfly here at the shelter. I can startle easily with movements and noises, so I'm best suited to a household where any children will be over the age of 12, just so I feel safe and secure. I would also like to be indoor and outdoor so I can toilet when I need, some comfy places to snooze and some cool toys. Most of all I just want to be loved and maybe also become a couch potato and watch tv (shh, don't tell anyone!) I will need some time and patience to settle in, so my new owner must be patient and willing to take the time for me to settle in before we do anything super extravagant!
