Hello there! My name is Tommy Girl, and I'm a delightful young adult on the lookout for my forever home. I'm here to tell you a little about myself and why I would make the purr-fect addition to your family. I started my journey in a shelter where life was a bit overwhelming for a young cat like me. I hadn't had much human interaction before, so I was pretty timid at first. But then, something magical happened – I got the chance to go to a foster home. In the beginning, I was a bit scared, but after just a few days, I transformed into a complete smooch bug. Now, I follow my foster mum everywhere in the house, always ready for a cuddle. I've discovered that I really enjoy the quiet and calm atmosphere of my foster home, so I'm hoping my forever owners can provide me with a similar haven. It's important to me to have a nice hiding spot where I can retreat when things get a bit too much for my sensitive nature. Due to my timidness, I would prefer a household without kids under 12 years old.
I have a few favourites that make my heart content. Fluffy blankets are like heaven to me, and I love to curl up on them for a cozy nap. My absolute favourite though, are all these amazing balls that are here, that i get to bat around chase, it brings me so much joy. I have recovered from cat flu. It is very similar to what a cold looks like in humans but it is a cat only strain, so you don't have to worry about me making you sick.. While I have recovered, I will always have it in my system and under times of stress I can show symptoms of it again. If I go home with other felines it would be best to keep us separated for the first two weeks so I don't risk spreading it to them. If in the future you notice me coming down with the"flu"(sneezing watery eyes discharge) then it would be best to take me to the vet for a check up. I will need to be kept an indoor only cat for the rest of my life. Despite my initial shyness, I've discovered that I absolutely adore the company of other cats. I would thrive in a home with another friendly feline companion. Having a buddy to play and cuddle with makes my little heart happy. If you think you have the purr-fect home for me, filled with love, patience, and maybe a fluffy blanket or two, please consider making me a part of your family. I promise to fill your days with affection and joy.
lots of love Tommy Girl xx
