Little bit about Kris, the Rescuoodle

Hey there! I’m Kris, a small black cat with a heart as mysterious as my sleek fur. I’m a bit of a social misfit due to a lack of early socialization, but that just makes me all the more unique. If you’re patient, kind, and have a pocket full of treats, you might just be the one to win my quirky little heart.

I thrive in a peaceful environment where things move at a gentle pace. A calm household helps me feel safe and gives me the space I need to come out of my shell. I might be a little shy and socially awkward at first, but once I get to know you, my sweet and quirky personality will shine through. Yummy treats are the way to my heart. With a bit of bribery, you’ll find me warming up to you in no time. I’m not a lap cat—at least, not yet. But with time, I might surprise you with my affectionate side. For now, gentle interactions and respect for my boundaries are the way to go.

Young kids can be a bit too overwhelming for me. I do best in a home with adults or older teens who understand my need for a slow and steady approach. I love having a variety of toys to play with. Interactive toys, feather wands, and puzzle feeders will keep me entertained and help me feel more at ease. I adore having multiple cozy spots to choose from. Whether it’s a plush bed, a cardboard box, or a sunny windowsill, I need plenty of options to find my perfect nap spot.
