Little bit about Mavis, the Rescuoodle

Hi I'm Mavis, the sweetest little lady searching for my furever home and I hope that is with you!

I have lived a sheltered life and can become overwhelmed easily by the big wide world, however with a loving family to build me up in a peaceful and quiet home, I hope I can gain enough confidence to brave it. I will need to be a lady of leisure in the safety of my new home for an extended period of time, to work out my new routine at my own pace. I would love it if my new family could spend a few weeks at home with me as I settle in, before heading back to the hustle and bustle of life. As much as my new extended family members and friends might like to meet me, it would be best to keep my world small till we have created a beautiful bond.

I can be shy and become overwhelmed by too many cuddles and fast movements, which is why I would love it if my new family members were older, to better understand my needs and go slow. When scared and overwhelmed I may try to flee to a safe space, which is why I would love to have access at all times to the comfort of my safe space and your company for short toilet walks in a secure and fully fenced backyard. I may never be brave enough to brunch with the girls or caravan around Australia, however I will make an amazing companion with your love and support.

I have tried to meet other furry friends in care, however when they approach I can become overwhelmed, move away and seek refuge next to my shelter friends. I won't be able to share my home with another canine companion at this stage, however in the very distance future I may be able to learn that they aren't so bad. As I am uncomfortable around other dogs I won't be able to venture out to off lead areas.

Requirements:

-Must meet all family – Only dog household – Adult only household

-Indoor/Outdoor access – Peaceful/quiet home – Secure colourbond fencing with footings
