Make a difference in an animals life today!
Hi, I'm Nash, the sweetest three-legged gentlemen looking for a fresh start in a loving home. I hope that's with you!
I have experienced some hardship in my young life and would love a family to help build me up, to be the dog that I am trying so hard to be. I have had to re-learn life skills and trust walking around on three legs, which at times has been scary. I will need to take life slow and be a home body in a peaceful environment for a period of time before investigating the world at my own pace and meeting new friends. I would love if you could take a mini holiday for a few weeks from the hustle and bustle of life to help settle me into my new home.
Once I have settled in it would be great to venture out on short sniff walks as I do enjoy investigating smells close to come and would love to settle into a cozy safe space indoors with a chew. I am still learning to navigate the world on three legs, and it can be difficult to move around on uneven ground, so it would be great if my new home was one level, with minimal to no stairs to avoid too much pressure and exertion on my hind leg.
I have been learning how great life can be from my shelter friends, however, can still be overwhelmed by too much affection, which is why it would be great if my new family members were older, to be able to read my cues. This may be difficult as I do have a squishy and loveable face. I have tried to meet furry friends in care and would like to be social, however, I can become overwhelmed when meeting nose to nose as I do not understand how to make friends and become uncomfortable. Other dogs may not understand my communication and take this the wrong way, so it would be best if I was an only dog.
