Hi I'm Mocha, a goofy young lady looking for a furever home with a loving family!
I am an excitable young lady who loves enrichment, training sessions and relaxing with my shelter friends. I have lived a sheltered life and my world has been kept small. There is so much that I have yet to learn, however I am a smarty pants and with you by my side and lots of tasty treats of course as food is everything, I will decipher the world around me at speed. I would love to have a cozy spot in my new home to rest near my new family and a backyard to explore and work off some energy with zoomies.
I have been working with my shelter friends on developing my skills and would love for my new family to help me with daily training session to keep my skills sharp. I get super excited when seeing other furry friends and have some nice social skills when meeting, however I can become frustrated when I am unable to meet which can make other dogs uncomfortable and this is why I need to be an only dog. It would be great if I had solid fencing around my new yard for this reason. I would love to meet furry friends in the future once you have helped me master my socialisation.
I can be a bit timid when first meeting new friends however, when comfortable I really come out of my shell, my personality shines and you will fall in love with me just like my friend here at the shelter. As I can be a bit timid and am still learning it would be great if my younger family members were older as loud and fast movements can make me uncomfortable. I love people and enjoy spending time soaking up all the attention which I why I can become a bit unsettled when left alone. It would be great if my family could be home more often to help me settle in and get comfortable in my new space with lots of fun enrichment to get my big brain working. If you think you would be a great home for me please fill out an application at https://www.rspcansw.org.au/what-we-do/adoptions/exceptional-owners/ .
Kisses and tail wags, Mocha
