Little bit about Lady, the Rescuoodle

Hello there, my name is Lady!

I'm a social butterfly with 3 legs and a heart full of gold and I am looking for my new home that can embrace me just as I am.

I'd suit a calm, quiet and gentle home where I can be included as part of the family, coming both inside and outdoors, as well as joining you on a slow casual stroll a few times a week that can allow me to go at my own pace, or simply snuggling up on a nice soft bed by your feet, while we watch telly.

As I only have 3 legs, I do sometimes need help to navigate some obstacles, so using lots of yummy treats and and positive reinforcement will hit the spot and make it positive for me too.

If there are any children that are confident around dogs in the home, I would like to meet them to make sure we are comfortable in each others presence. I would benefit from having a safe space all of my own, like a crate or a bed area where the children don't go, where I can go to relax and unwind when things get a bit much for me.

I know sometimes you have to go out, if you leave me with some fun toys, yum treats, fresh water bowl and a sheltered, snuggly bed, I should be safe and happy until you get home. I would benefit from daily enrichment and interactive feeders to help keep my mind and body active.

I get along well with other dogs of a similar, calmer nature, so if you have another dog at home, please bring them in to meet me to make sure we will be friends and make sure they don't want to push me over as I can sometimes be a little unbalanced on my 3 legs. For this reason as well I would much prefer to not go to dog parks as some of those dogs can be a little rough. I would much prefer to relax and enjoy out time together on a walk instead.
