Hey you! yeah you! The names Tank. I’m an up-and-coming star at the shelter, they just can’t get enough of my Ausie cattle cross cuteness! I thought I would introduce myself first and take a leap, you see I’m often overwhelmed by new situations or even new people. Yep, you guessed it, I’m an introvert. That’s ok though because I’m slowly learning to be more confident here at the shelter. My friends at the shelter have been a huge help in building my confidence, working with positive training techniques, learning how to control my bbbiiiggg emotions, and much more. I still have a ways to go and now that I’m ready to be adopted I can’t wait to start learning with my new family. Now the boring part, my restrictions. Seeming I need a patient and understanding pawtner in crime that can assist me in my training and confidence building, I won’t be suited for a home with children or other animals. Sometimes my frustration can get the better of me and I find it difficult to control my excitement, having your full attention and support is the best option for me and if I continue to work with a positive based trainer, I know I will learn and grow to be more confident. Now, I do need to ask you something. I’ve heard a rumor. Apparently, some of you out there have something called a “backwards yards” these things sound awesome, an area for me to call my own, run around, climb, sniff, and explore sounds sublime. I must say though I do love to lay inside doing nothing more than playing with my toys or chasing butterflies in my dreams. Since being at the shelter I’ve had time to think of what I want in my new family. Now of course I want nothing more than your undivided love and attention, but I also thought it would be good to spend lots of time with you throughout the day. This way you can help me when I get stuck, worried, or overwhelmed, someone home with me most of the time I think would be the best option. So, what do you think? Do you have space for a Tank in your home?
