Hello there! My name is Jessie and I'm the sweetest young girl you'll ever meet! After a few short weeks here at BARC I'm now ready to find my forever home, could that be with you?
I have had a bit of a rough start to life and unfortunately found myself brought into the shelter with my litter mates at a young age. I haven't had a lot of exposure to the big wide world in my short life, so I can sometimes be a bit uncertain around new people, dogs and environments. However, once I get to know my people, I am the most affectionate and loving girl!
I have been building confidence with my familiar handlers and have been learning how to meet new people and interact with some doggy friends at the shelter and am now ready to find my forever family. I am looking for a family that will be patient and understanding to help guide me through this new chapter and welcome me into their home with open arms! My ideal home would have no other furry friends as I'm still a bit unsure around them. I would also prefer a quieter home with experienced owners and no young children, as I can be a little uncertain in new environments and will need a family that can read my body language and give me guidance and reassurance, as well as space when needed.
Once I build a bond with you I am the most loyal, affectionate and cuddly girl and love nothing more than curling up beside my human and getting lots of kisses and cuddles. Sometimes I can be a little jumpy when I've had too much touch from my people but my ears give me away so my family will be able to read this and give me a little space before I return for more!
If you think you could be the right family for Jessie, please fill out an Expression of Interest form and the team at BARC will be in contact to discuss further.
