Little bit about May, the Rescuoodle

Hi there, I'm May! I may have had a rough start, but I'm ready to find my forever home and fill it with love and joy.

I came to the shelter as a stray, but don't let my past hold you back from getting to know me. While I was in care, they discovered that I have a heart murmur during a physical examination. It might sound scary, but don't worry, it's something that can be discussed further with a vet. And guess what? You'll get a free vet consult upon adoption to address any concerns you may have about it. Due to this, though, I'll need to be an indoor-only kitty to keep me safe and healthy.

Speaking of health, they also found that I have grade 1/4 dental disease. It's nothing too serious at this point, but it's important to take care of it to keep me feeling my best. A dental scale and polish under general anesthesia within the next year should do the trick. Plus, making sure I have high-quality food will help keep my teeth nice and healthy for years to come.

Now, onto the fun stuff! I love to play and I'm a big fan of cat toys, especially those Dee Bird toys! They really bring out my natural hunting instincts and keep me entertained for hours. So, make sure you have plenty of those around for me to chase and pounce on!
