Little bit about Estella, the Rescuoodle

Hi there, I'm Estella! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I may look a bit different from other kitties, with only three legs, but don't let that fool you—I can do just about anything a four-legged feline can do! My journey to the shelter hasn't been the easiest. I came here with an injury that made it necessary for me to say goodbye to one of my legs. But hey, I'm a resilient girl, and I'm not letting that slow me down one bit.

Because of my little disability, the humans here say I'm an "indoor-only" kind of gal. They tell me it's safer for me, and I trust them on that. I might take some time to warm up to new people and places. I'm a bit shy, you see, but once I feel safe and comfortable, I'm all about the cuddles and affection.

Oh, and about the brushing—I have a luxurious coat that needs a bit of TLC every now and then. But please, only when I'm feeling up to it. I like to take things at my own pace.

I've been on some medication to help me adjust and feel less anxious. But don't worry, my new family will have a chance to talk to the vet about whether I still need it. I'm sure with a little love and patience, I'll be just fine.
