Make a difference in an animals life today!
Hi humans my name is Ava and I am a sweet girl who is now finally on the lookout for her new forever family. I have been in and out of shelter a few times due to no fault of my own, I get the taste of family life but it doesn't seem to last for me, no one understands why and I would love for my next home to be the one I stay in forever!!
I am a lower energy gal who would love to go for a walk in quieter areas and then have a nice comfy spot in the sun to spend my day soaking up some vitamins D and enjoying life. I would love a nice secure yard that I can explore and discover new things in. I have previously had indoor and outdoor access and I loved it, so I will need this in my new home as it helps me settle. I was toilet trained and could happily go and sleep in the sun and then come and find my human when I felt the need for some cuddle time.
I will need my new guardians to be home more often than not as I love to be around my humans, if you do need to go out giving me enrichment such as a bone or a long lasting chew helps me settle and stay busy while you are away. I have been in foster with children and I have loved to spent time with them, if you have any two legged companions for me make sure you bring them in to say hi. I will need to be the only animal in the home, as I am an older girl I like my space and don't have interest in playing anymore. It is best for me to go for walks in quieter times as well as I like to potter and sniff and keep my distance from other dogs.
Requirements:
If you think I could be the sweet angel for you please head into the shelter today to say hi, I can't wait to find my very own home!! Love Ava
