Give to Get Them Home: Every Donation Doubled!

For one day only, animal lovers will be given a rare opportunity to double their impact to RSPCA NSW during Give to Get Them Home on Thursday, 5th of October 2023. Every donation made to RSPCA NSW during Give to Get them Home will be matched by generous major donors and corporate partners until we meet our fundraising goal. 

On average, it costs RSPCA NSW $1,000 to rescue, care for and find an animal a home. More than 12,362 animals came through our shelter doors at RSPCA NSW in the last 12 months, that’s 34 animals seeking refuge each day. These animals have been neglected, abandoned or mistreated through no fault of their own. 

$54 can help cover the costs to prepare an animal for adoption.  

$83 can provide a veterinarian assessment when an animal arrives at the shelter. 

$200 can provide a life-saving course of antibiotics for a rescue horse. 

Give to Get Them Home is made possible through the kind donations and fundraising efforts of our wonderful sponsors and generous supporters, allowing us to continue caring for animals in need. Money raised will go directly to help homeless, neglected and abused animals in the community, and support RSPCA NSW’s animal welfare advocacy and education work.
