One call, one opportunity, double the donation

The phone lines are now open for RSPCA’s Give to Get Them Home campaign, where one donation can help twice as many animals in need.

Donations made to RSPCA NSW today online or by calling (02) 9782 4400 will be matched by corporate and individual leadership supporters as we work towards our goal of raising $100,000 for animals in need.

This incredible one-day opportunity will help touch the lives of the 30,000 animals RSPCA NSW care for annually.

RSPCA NSW Regular Giving Manager Amy Brown said the appeal means every supporter can make the benefit of their donation felt twofold.

“We are heading into the busiest time of year across all our shelters and Give to Get Them Home is a great way to double the influence of your donation.

“98 per cent of our work is community funded and would not be possible without our supporters – do not miss your chance to magnify your impact today.”

On average it costs the RSPCA $1,000 to rescue, care for and find an animal a home. Money raised will go directly to help homeless, neglected and abused animals in the community and support RSPCA NSW’s animal welfare advocacy and education work.

A $1000 donation, doubled to $2000 during the campaign, will provide emergency vet care for four animals. RSPCA NSW has an open-door policy and pay for emergency surgery as well as medication for animals who need immediate veterinary treatment.

On the eve of World Animal Day, there is no time like today to give and paws-itively help shelter animals find a loving home.

Donations can be made online at www.charidy.com/rspcansw or via telephone on (02) 9782 4400.
