Company Customer Facing Campaigns

Build your brand and inspire customers through cause related marketing, point of sale, and round up campaigns.

At RSPCA NSW, we have a number of options for businesses to get involved in customer facing campaigns. Not only will this help thousands of animals in need, but it will also engage your community of customers in a meaningful way and give people an opportunity to support a cause they care about.

Cause Related Marketing

Cause related marketing is where your business donates a percentage of the price of a specific product sold to help RSPCA animals. An example could be, ‘15% of profits from all dog bowl sales will be donated to RSPCA NSW.’ It’s a great way to boost your brand’s profile, promote product sales, and support abandoned animals at the same time.

Point of Sale

With a point of sale campaign, your business could make a donation for every particular product you sell. An example could be, ‘For every dog bowl sold, $5 will be donated to RSPCA NSW.’ Or another way to do this could be, ‘For every dog bowl sold, the company will donate one dog bowl to RSPCA NSW.’ Whichever way you choose to do a point of sale campaign, it’s certain to make customers feel good about their purchase.

Round Ups

A great way to support RSPCA is by asking your customers to donate by rounding up the price of the sale amount at the point of purchase. For example, if a customer purchases a smoothie for $5.50, your team member serving them could ask if the customer would like to round up the price to $6.00, meaning a 50c donation will go towards helping animals in need. These round up amounts might seem small but they add up over time to make a significant contribution. Round ups can be done in-store at the register or added as a function to your online store’s checkout.

Frequently Asked Questions

The size of the group will vary depending on the location. The Sydney and Hunter shelters can take groups of up to ten people, and the Illawarra shelter can take groups of six people. If you have a larger size team, you can book multiple dates.

The program includes a variety of different activities that will allow your team to interact and engage with shelter animals.

Our Corporate Support Days and animal shelters operate in rain, hail or shine. The weather will determine which activities can happen on the day.

The Corporate Support Day Program is specially designed just for corporate teams. All participants must be aged 18+ to attend and be an employee of the company. RSPCA have several other programs specifically designed for children which you can find out more about here.

Corporate Support Days take considerable time to organise and deliver. The fee assists with the purchase of materials and equipment for activities, plus allows us to allocate at least three staff members to facilitate each group.

Corporate Support Days with RSPCA NSW are very popular and booked well in advance. Your company will need to pay the fee to secure the booking.

All Corporate Support Day participants should have respect and a willingness to work with animals. Please do consider carefully if an animal shelter is the best place for you if you have a fear of animals or allergies.
