TERMS AND CONDITIONS Eligibility: The “Name Our Shelter Animals Draw” (hereafter referred to as “the Draw”) is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of RSPCA NSW and Royal Canin, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the Draw. How to Enter: To enter the Draw, participants must submit their suggested names for shelter animals through the designated entry form provided by RSPCA NSW. Each participant may submit multiple entries, but each entry must contain a unique name suggestion. Entry into the Draw is free of charge and does not require any purchase. Inappropriate Submissions: RSPCA NSW reserves the right to remove any submission from the Name Our Shelter Animals Draw that contains inappropriate, offensive, or potentially harmful names. Inappropriate names include but are not limited to those that are offensive, discriminatory, vulgar, obscene, or promote violence or illegal activities. Participants who submit inappropriate names will be disqualified from the draw, and their submissions will be removed from consideration. RSPCA NSW’s decision regarding the removal of submissions deemed inappropriate is final and binding. Prize Redemption and Restrictions: Redemption: The winner of the Name Our Shelter Animals Draw will be notified via email or telephone within 14 days of the draw date by RSPCA NSW. To redeem the prize, the winner must respond within 30 days and provide the necessary information requested by RSPCA NSW for prize fulfillment or they forfeit the prize and another winner will be drawn. The winner must disclose the type of animal and any specific dietary requirements the animal has, as well as their address for delivery. RSPCA NSW will place the order to as close (more or less) to the value of $1000, depending on price of Royal Canin food products specific to animal type and dietary needs. Prize can only be offered to canines and felines. Restrictions: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. The winner must adhere to any terms and conditions set forth by Royal Canin regarding the use of the pet food vouchers or direct supply. The prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by Royal Canin, and the winner agrees to comply with all such terms and conditions. Any additional costs or expenses incurred by the winner in connection with the prize, such as delivery charges or additional products beyond the $1000 value, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Expiry: The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of the draw date. Failure to redeem the prize within this timeframe will result in forfeiture, and no alternative prize will be provided. Modification or Cancellation: RSPCA NSW and Royal Canin reserve the right to modify or cancel the prize or any part of it if unforeseen circumstances arise that are beyond their control. In the event of such modification or cancellation, RSPCA NSW and Royal Canin will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value. Disqualification: The winner may be disqualified from receiving the prize if they are found to be in violation of these terms and conditions or if they fail to comply with any instructions provided by RSPCA NSW or Royal Canin regarding prize redemption. Liability: RSPCA NSW and Royal Canin shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the winner as a result of participating in the draw or redeeming the prize. 5. Draw Period The Draw will commence on 23rd April 2024 and end midnight 12th May 2024. Entries received outside of this period will not be considered. RSPCA NSW reserves the right to extend the competition past the 12th of May or end it before the 12th of May depending on the popularity and performance of the campaign. In the event that the campaign is not performing well, RSPCA NSW may close the competition earlier to avoid incurring excessive expenses. Winner Selection: The winner of the Draw will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Draw period. The draw will take place within 7 days of the end of the Draw period. Winner Notification: The winner will be notified via email or telephone within 7 days of the draw date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 30 days of notification, RSPCA NSW reserves the right to select an alternative winner. Use of Names: By submitting name suggestions for shelter animals, participants grant RSPCA NSW and Royal Canin the right to use the suggested names for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, website content, and marketing materials. The names submitted will be added to a working document accessible to all shelter staff, who may use them to name animals that come through the shelter. RSPCA NSW has no obligation to use or report back to the participant if/when their submitted name has been used, but participants are welcome to monitor our social media or adoption site to see if any animals have been named after their submission. RSPCA NSW reserves the right to not use any names that are deemed unsuitable for any reason, including but not limited to offensive, inappropriate, or potentially harmful names. Privacy: By submitting an entry into the Draw, entrants agree to the RSPCA NSW Privacy Policy, which outlines how personal information is collected, used, and protected. By participating in the “Name Our Shelter Animals Draw,” you acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in this notice and our Privacy Policy. Limitation of Liability: RSPCA NSW and Royal Canin shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by participants as a result of participating in the Draw or accepting the prize. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Agreement to Terms: By participating in the Draw, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Changes to Terms and Conditions: RSPCA NSW reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the RSPCA NSW website or other designated platform.Â
