Little bit about Marlo

Hi I'm Marlo!

Let's get a few things out of the way… yes, I know I'm handsome!! I get told all the time by the shelter staff. But being handsome isn't all I have going for me, I'm smart and playful, I am good at keeping humans' company and making them laugh, I'm pretty talented with a soccer ball and I sleep like a champion! I'm ready to find my new forever home with someone who has some breed experience with us Kelpies, we can be a bit much for someone who is new to us! I'll need a home with 6ft secure fencing, no cats and no kids under the age of 8, that way I can get ALL the love, and kept safe in my yard.

I have a few calm doggy friends at the shelter, but I don't like it when they jump all over me, so I'm not suited to any busy areas where dogs can run up to me off lead.

All of that aside, I'm a playful young boy who just wants to follow you around, play soccer and keep you company. I promise I'll be your best mate and make you laugh every day. If you think I could fit into your home, give the staff at the shelter a call to arrange a date, be sure to bring all members of the household in, including any other dogs to say hello.

My adoption fee is $480 and I am vaccinated, wormed, desexed, microchipped, vet checked, started on heartworm treatment and come flea free.
