Little bit about TJ, the Rescuoodle

Woof my name is TJ, nice to meet you!

I'm a 12 year old senior gentleman looking for a loving forever home to live out the rest of my years. I'm a gentle and sweet natured man that would love a home that has indoor an outdoor access, hopefully with a yard where I get to lay in the sun, relax and play because you see, I'm a not so young anymore and sometimes I may just prefer a lazy day instead of a walk – I hope you understand. I think I'd be a great companion for you as I'd be more than happy to just lay by your feet or beside you or just sleep on my bed hehe. Instead of daily walks due to my age, providing me with some basic enrichment like a snuffle mat would be pawfect! Us old fellas still need some mental simulation you see. Ideally my forever home will have no children under 6 years old as sometimes young children don't always understand I don't want to be interacted or pat with all the time as I'm an older lad that would prefer my boundaries and space respected – I hope you understand! If you have another dog at home please bring them in so we can have a play date to ensure it is a pawfect match but please keep in mind that I'd be best suited to a dog that is similar age to myself or is calmer around dogs. Speaking of other dogs, I do in fact already have a dog friend at the shelter, her name is Taylor 0734201 and we once upon a time use to live together in a previous home, she also happens to be available for adoption too! We are best of friends and I would love for her to come home with us if there is space for both of us so we can play and cuddle up together for the rest of our days!
