Meet Jemima

Little bit about Jemima, the Rescuoodle

My name is Jemima and I am looking for my very own home.

I have been in care with my RSPCA friends for a little while and am now ready to find my own family so I can start may amazing future. When I first arrived I was very frightened and thought everything was scary, but I have realised that hanging out with my people friends, playing with toys and running around are some of my favourite things to do.

When I was a puppy I did miss out on some learning experiences but I am working really hard to catch up, and being in my own home will help me continue to learn about home life.

I do like other dogs, but my social skills are not quite perfect yet, so while a home with another social small breed dog would be good I may still need some time to adjust to sharing my space. An experienced doggy parent who is used to having more than one dog in the home would suit me well.

I have spent a little bit of time in a foster home and have shown that I love to be inside the house with my people, but also enjoy a secure outdoor space to run around and play.

I like playing with toys and will try almost anything for treats. My toilet training is progressing well and I am sure it wont take me long to be completely house trained once I move in to my new home.

I have made amazing progress in my confidence with new people and in new places, but my new family will still need to take time to allow me to adjust, and be willing to take things at the pace that I am comfortable with. I have only recently learnt to walk on a lead, but am not quite ready to be out in the big busy world and will need to start with getting used to my family home and familiar surroundings before seeing If I enjoy busier places.

• No children under 15 years
• Experienced owner willing to continue with my behavioural management/rehabilitation
• A home with easy access to a secure outdoor space
• OK with another dog
• OK with cats
