Hey, I'm Wally!
I'm a smaller sized little dog who is quite shy and timid at times, but I gain confidence from people and other smaller dogs, maybe you could be my new person to help guide me through this scary life? I've grown up in a horrible place, there was no room, nothing to do, and my basic needs were not being met, it was so boring let me tell you! I'm so ready to start a new life in a home, being loved like I should be. Since I am quiet and shy, I'm suited to an adult home with experienced owners, a calm lifestyle with predictability, another smaller dog to show me the ropes, plenty of toys and comfy beds to snooze in. It will take me time to settle and build a bond with someone, but a quick way to cheer me up and get my attention is toys! I'm not very fond of touch unless I know you really well, so potential adopters will need to go slow with me and give me space when I need it. I am on some special medication to help with my behavior and shelter stay, so the staff will organize for you to speak to my vet before taking me home. I will require multiple meets with all household members and the other dog, so please make sure you are within driving distance of Coffs Harbour. I'm working on my toilet training, so I will need a yard I can access when I need, and an owner who is patient and won't get angry if i make a mistake.
If you're looking for another doggo companion and already have a smaller confident dog living in the home, maybe I'm your guy! If you are interested, please fill out an application form and someone will be in touch!
