Meet Morty

Little bit about Morty, the Rescuoodle

Hi there! My name is Morty, and I'm here to tell you all about myself. First things first, I'm a six-year-old Domestic Medium Hair cat, and if I do say so myself, quite majestic-looking. My fur is a mix of colors, and it's oh-so-soft to the touch.

Now, I have to admit, I can be a bit clingy at times. I love to follow my humans around, making sure I'm always nearby. But don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge fan of being handled too much. I prefer to approach you on my terms, when I'm feeling up to it.

You see, I come with a few health issues, but nothing that should scare you away. I've had the cat flu in the past, which means I have to be an indoor cat. We wouldn't want to spread the flu around, as it's highly contagious and can make me feel pretty yucky if it flares up.

In my previous life, I had a bit of a rough time. I had to be treated for a mandibular symphyseal fracture, which sounds scary, but I've healed up nicely. I also had some trouble with conjunctivitis, but that's all in the past now.  You will get a free vet consult upon adoption, so if you have any questions or concerns about my health, they'll be able to help you out.

Despite my rough start, I'm actually a really good, chilled-out cat. I love nothing more than lounging around, watching the world go by from a cozy spot by the window. So if you're looking for a laid-back feline friend to keep you company, I might just be the perfect match for you.
