How to Get Involved This Random Acts of Kindness Day

This year, Random Acts of Kindness Day falls on Saturday, 17 February, making now the perfect time to get involved and spread the gift of joy. Today, we celebrate more than just moments that make us smile; we celebrate the spirit of compassion that changes and brightens the lives of those around us.

In honour of Random Acts of Kindness Day, join us in exploring the profound impact of simple gestures within the realms of animal welfare. Indeed, today marks the perfect opportunity to create a ripple effect of compassion that extends beyond our shelter’s walls. Every act of kindness contributes to a brighter and more hopeful future for our beloved animals.

For those who may not be able to commit to adopting a companion animal, we have so many great initiatives for anyone interested in making a positive impact.

Donations

By making a donation to us in any way, in-kind or financial, you are helping animals statewide receive the love they deserve whilst in our care.

To guide you in selecting the items that we really need but can’t afford, we’ve created a wish list. By identifying items our shelters would like, your donation will go directly to the animals, staff and volunteers who need them most.

You can view the items we are constantly looking for on our wishlist here.

We kindly ask that before visiting one of our sites with your donation, that you please get in touch with our Contact Centre by email on mail@rspcansw.org.au or call  9770 7555 ahead of time. This way, we can be prepared to accept your donation and make sure it is put to the best use.

If you are a company and wish to donate in bulk, please contact our Corporate Relations team at corporates@rspcansw.org.au
